- Offerors Representations and Certifications Schedule of Items The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest intends to award a contract for purchase of one mini excavator. The mini excavator will be used by the personnel to work on Forest Service 4 X 4 trails. The equipment needs to be of sufficient size and type as specified below to accomplish these tasks in this environment. As a Federal Agency, we do not pay State or Local sales tax. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Operating weight: 4900 to 5400 lbs Maximum Width: 60 Inches Maximum Height: 8 Feet Net Horsepower: 18-22 Zero Tail Swing Maximum Digging Depth: 8-10 Feet Maximum Reach at Ground Level: 13-16 Feet Rubber Tracks Hydraulic Thumb Grading Blade Working Lights Drive Traveling Alarm Dual Pattern Hydraulic Controls Quick Couple Pin Style Release for Bucket Transfer Hydraulic Hose Protectors Canopy 12 Inch Width Bucket 18 Inch Width Standard Bucket 30 Inch Width Clean Out Bucket DELIVERY DATE: The equipment is to be delivered or ready for pick up no later than June 18, 2010. INTERESTED VENDORS: Offerors are to submit the following three items: 1) Pricing on Attachment 01 Schedule of Items; 2) Completed Attachment 02 the provision 52.212-3 Offerors Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items and 3) Brochure of proposed equipment that provides specifications of equipment and photos with its offer RESPONSE DATE: All quotations along with received by May 14, 2010 by 4:00pm PST will be considered by the Government. Responses may be faxed to (425) 783-0129 or emailed to gamasters@fs.fed.us. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-05M6-S-10-0041 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. The North American Classification System code is 333120 with a corresponding size standard of 750 employees. This project is a 100% set aside for small business concerns.
