- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington intends to award a sole-source modification to extend contract Number W911S8-07-C-9000 for a 6 month period, from 1 July 2010-31 December 2010, to Logistics Solutions Group, Inc. for the CONUS Support Base Services. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), these services are required by the agency and are available from this responsible source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency, or it will result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries should be directed no later than Friday, 14 May 2010, via e-mail, reference W911S8-07-C-9000, to Thomas Ebenhoh, Contract Administrator, thomas.ebenhoh@us.army.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice, whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the U.S. Army requirement.
