- Description
- VA798-10-RQ-0091 Amendment 1 Effective Date: 05/06/2010 The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received in response to solicitation VA798-10-RQ-0091 for CGFM Courses. The hour and date specified for receipt of quotes is not extended. 1.Question: Dates of training: The period of performance is listed from May 24th, 2010 to May 23, 2015. Does that mean that first set of training will start on May 24th? Do you have specific dates or are the dates of the courses to be determined, subject to mutual agreement of agency and contractor? If there are no specific dates yet, are there any tentative periods of time and how far in advance will the dates be known (for example, will the dates for all six sets be known at the same time or will one set be scheduled at one time)? Response: The dates will be determined, subject to mutual agreement of agency and contractor. The offeror shall be able to deliver 6 sessions of all three courses through August 2010. 2.Question: Locations: Are there any additional information on training locations other than the cities? Response: The contractor will determine the site in the cities mentioned. 3.Question: Courses Schedule: the document state that "each class/training event will consist of all three courses taught consecutively". These courses are six days in length and are usually broken down into two sets of three days each. Do you want these courses to be taught in six consecutive days? Response: The government would like the courses to be taught in a compressed schedule of five consecutive days. 4.Question: Facilities: The document states that the contractor will be responsible for providing facilities. Is there anything else included in "facilities" besides the meeting space (for example, food, parking fees, sleeping rooms, etc.)? Response: The only thing required for the facilities is meeting space. 5.Question: Facilities: Is the provision of facilities an absolute requirement to providing this training- would the government consider a bid for just the training (instructor and materials) without providing facilities? Response: The Government must have quotes that meet all requirements of the solicitation including facilities.
