- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION. NO FURTHER SOLICIATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q9833100076 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 424690 with a Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. This requirement is issued as a Small Business set aside. If no responsive, responsible and reasonable offers are received from Small Business, this Small Business set aside will be dissolved. (v) The contractor shall supply and deliver the following to Mile 26 Denali Park Road, Denali National Park, Alaska 99755. 1. 56 Tons of Granular Calcium Chloride.Calcium Chloride Shall be delivered in individual reinforced plastic super sacks weighing 2,000 /2400 pounds each. Individual Super Sacks shall have inner moisture liner, four corner lifting points and bottom dump chute. All bids shall indicate the source of the Calcium Chloride. Calcium Chloride shall be Manufactured in the United States. 2. Please ensure all shipping charges (F.O.B. Destination) are included into the cost of the above items. Shipped to Mile 26 storage area Denali Park road, Denali Park, AK 99755. Total Delivery to be made between 06/28/2010 - 07/02/2010. NOTE: Successful bidder shall contact park employees 48 hours in advance of delivery to receive required park road delivery permits. The contact names shall be given at time of Award.
