- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM FOR CONSTRUCTION NAICS CODE 236220. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805 anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a contract for the construction project known as Replacement of Interior and Exterior Signage. The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business set-aside. The solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Priced Contract. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, travel, etc. to perform all work under this project which consists of: 1.Full and complete design, manufacturing, installation and power tie-in to perform complete replacement of all interior and exterior signage throughout the Wilmington VA Medical Center. 1.Interior signage includes room identification/number, directional signage, life safety signage, specialty signage and informational signage. There are approximately 2,700 signs. 2.Exterior signage includes LED Public signage with VA logo, Buildings signage, Medical/Emergency signage, directional signage and parking. There are approximately 75 signs. The cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the U.S. Small Business Administration Size Standard is $33,500,000.00. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about May 19, 2010. Site visit information will be provided upon issuance of the solicitation. Only one site visit will be conducted. Bids will be due on or about 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Office. All potential bidders should register on this website as interested vendors.
