- Description
- Contracting Office Address: Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, Contracts Department Hwy 547 Attn B562-3C, Lakehurst, NJ, 08733-5083 Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a 5 year Basic Ordering Agreeement (BOA) with Telephonics Corporation, Farmingdale, NY. The purpose of the proposed BOA and all subsequent delivery orders is to procure equipment and spare parts to support the AN/TPX-42A(V)14/15 Shipboard Air Traffic Control (ATC) System. The Government does not own the technical data/rights to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure the above listed items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Telephonics is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the AN/TPX-42A(V)14/15 Shipboard ATC equipment; therefore Telephonics would be the only source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to provide the essential equipment and spare parts with the required compatibility and interchangibility for integration into existing Shipboard ATC systems. Firms that can provide these items are encouraged to identify themselves. Vendors who are able to provide the required items on a continual basis for the 5 year time period are asked to provide company name, company address, company point of contract, company phone, and DUNS number or Cage Code. Closing date for identifying the ability to provide the circuit cards is 20 May 2010. A request for proposal will be issued on or about 26 May 2010.
