FOREST SERVICE IT SERVICESBidder's Conference13 MAY 2010 REFERENCE: FOREST SERVICE SOLICITATION #: AG-7604-S-08-0017REFERENCE: ANNOUNCEMENT ANN1000180 POSTED ON FBO - DATED MAY 4, 2010 The United States Department of Interior (DOI), National Business Center (NBC) on behalf of the United States Forest Service wishes to invite all interested Offerors to attend the Forest Service Information Technology (IT) Services Bidder's Conference on 13 May 2010. It is the intent of the Forest Service to award three (3) single-award vehicles encompassing a comprehensive scope of IT services in three areas: "Computing Infrastructure Support - GSA Solicitation #: N10PS40118"Network and Radio Infrastructure Support - GSA Solicitation #: N10PS40117"Integration, Architecture, Engineering and Monitoring Support - GSA Solicitation #: N10PS10116 The intent of the Bidder's Conference is to: "Provide an overview of the Forest Service so potential bidders better understand the customer."Provide a context for the upcoming solicitation to ensure a better understanding of Forest Service requirements."Ensure a level playing field for all competitors through consistent information sharing."Maximize transparency and clarity of Forest Service objectives, critical success factors, challenges, requirements, and constraints. The Bidder's Conference will be held at the USDA Jefferson Auditorium, 14th and Independence Avenue, S.W., in Washington, DC. The Bidder's Conference will begin at 9:00 AM ET with Registration commencing at 8:30 AM ET. The event is anticipated to be three (3) hours in duration with a short break during the proceedings. An interactive Question-and-Answer will not take place during the proceedings but Offerors will have an opportunity to submit written questions during the break which the Forest Service may elect to answer at the conclusion of the prepared remarks. Potential Offerors are asked to RSVP no later than 5:00 PM ET on 10 May 2010 to it_services@fs.fed.us identifying the names of the individual attending, the company they represent, and indicating whether each individual possesses U.S. citizenship. The information requested in the RSVP is critical, but not mandatory, to ensuring access into the USDA facility. Potential Offerors are limited to three (3) persons per Offeror. A transcript of the proceedings and the briefing materials provided will be posted on GSA e-Buy no later than 19 May 2010. Sign language interpretation will be provided; parking will be at Offeror expense. The Department of the Interior National Business Center anticipates releasing three (3) Requests for Proposal concurrently in late May or early June. Additional details will be forthcoming through a subsequent posting to GSA e-Buy under the solicitation numbers referenced above. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL INTERESTED OFFERORS TO MONITOR GSA E-BUY FOR ANY UPDATES/CHANGES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT NOTIFY OR RESPOND TO INDIVIDUAL INQUIRIES.
