- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA, 94404 for reagents for use in the ABI 3130x1 genetic sequencer: FG 3130 POP-7TM Polymer; TF, BDT v3.1 RR-1000 and Seq Buffer; TF, Big Dye Xterminator Kit, 50ml; BTL, 5X Seq Buffer, medium; and FG, Capillary Array 16 X 80cm. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
