- The US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Directorate of Contracting (DOC) is soliciting comments and suggestions from industry on Department of Defense Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprises (DLITE) Draft RFP. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from industry to improve the content, clarity, correctness, and completeness of the draft RFP. The Government will consider all questions and comments received from potential offerors in the preparation of the Final RFP. This is a special notice only. This is not a solicitation announcement. This draft RFP neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict INSCOM to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement, and requests for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government does not intend to respond to the questions or comments. Telephone inquiry will not be accepted. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. Responses to the special notice shall be limited to 25 pages or less, font 12; Times New Roman. Responses may be submitted either in hard-copy format in document/folder form or in the form of CD or DVD. Electronic submissions shall be emailed to linguist09@mi.army.mil. Hard copy Submissions shall be mailed to: HQ USAINSCOM ATTN: Directorate of Contracting 8825 Beulah Street Fort Belvoir VA 22060-5246 All Responses must be received in writing no later than 10 May 2010, 1200 EST.
