*** This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. *** The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to perform cleaning, repair, and maintenance of kitchen hood exhaust, and fire suppression systems at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) (i.e. Main, North, & Field), Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), and JBLM-Yakima Training Center (YTC), Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) Main, North, & Field, Washington. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, management, materials, supervision, tools, and transportation under these requirements. Kitchen hood exhaust must be clean, efficient, and safe operating (e.g., clean interior and exterior surfaces of kitchen exhaust systems, including range hoods, filters, ducts, fire suppression systems, fans and fan housings; and corroded exterior surfaces of hoods and ducts). Fire suppression systems and alarm interconnects will be thoroughly cleaned, maintained, and repaired for maximum operational capability. All work will be performed in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), industry and manufacturers standards and recommendations. The areas concerned in this project are government owned. They will be in use during the progress of the work and the Contractor shall arrange his operations to cause as little interference as possible including scheduling of work before/after normal duty hours (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561790 and the annual size standard is $7,000,000. The contract term will be a twelve month base period plus four one-year options. The anticipated contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price requirement contract. MICC, DOC is seeking industry information and comments from sources with capabilities to perform the contract and with relevant experience in all of the functional areas mentioned above. Interested parties shall complete and submit the attached Market Research Questionnaire to the Government. Responses to the Market Research Questionnaire are encouraged from all interested parties. You are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for future solicitation.. DISCLAIMER: DO NOT SUBMIT A NARRATIVE, PROPOSAL, BROCHURES OR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AT THIS TIME. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. This is a sources sought announcement and is for information and planning purposes ONLY, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on responses to this notice. This Sources Sought Synopsis is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing a solicitation.
