- Description
- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center, through the Program Support Center, Strategic Acquisition Service, intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with Parts 6.302-2(b)(2) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation to Deloitte, Inc., 6564 Loisdale Court, Springfield, VA 22150. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide fifteen (15) Deloitte Biometric Enrollment Software Tool – EWS (BEST-EWS) systems, to continue the ability of being compatible with the Department Identity Management System (IDMS). Deloitte is unique in that the BEST-EWS system is the enrollment system that will meet the compatibility of the Departments continued production of HSPD-12 applicant identity card (PIV-II) requests. THE PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-2. INTERESTED PERSONS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT PROPOSALS WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT ACQUISITION BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THE NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT
