- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Olympic National Forest, intends to acquire by contract Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for road decommissioning. The Government intends to award more than one Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), but not more than four (4) contracts. MATOC’s will be for three (3) years. The total maximum dollar limitation of this acquisition is $4,999,999.00, for all contracts combined. The minimum guarantee is $10,000.00 per contract. Location of projects shall be the Hood Canal and Pacific Ranger Districts of the Olympic National Forest. Period for performance is from JULY 01, 2010, to June 30, 2013. Project Manager is Guadalupe Cisneros, (360) 956-2353. The government will proceed to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. The solicitation includes one task order. Offerors shall submit a proposal for the task order. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, and past performance. Contract awards will be to the offeror’s whose offers, conforming to the solicitation, are the best value to the government. Construction task orders greater than, or equal to, $30,000.00 and less than, or equal to, $100,000.00 require payment protection. Construction task orders greater than $100,000.00 require performance and payment bonds. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to any construction task order greater than $2,000.00. Service task orders do not require payment protection, or performance and payment bonds. Service Contract Act wage rates apply to any service contract greater than $2,500.00. The proposed contract-type is Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) – Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC). This solicitation will be available on or about May 19, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
