- Pre-Bid Meeting Sign-in Sheet SF30 - Amendment 1 SF30 - Amendment 1 The purpose of this amendment is to provide,revise and replace existing specifications in Attachment 1 of this solicitation and to provide the sign-in sheet from the pre-bid meeting. ========================================================== 1) Provide,revise and replace existing specifications in Attachment 1: A. Specifications - Section 623 General Labor (experienced faller) - Add the following language: " A general labor may be required to cut trees that can not be taken down by the excavator, the general labor is required to support the equipment when necessary. If the equipment is capable of taking down trees safely then a general labor is not required and will not be needed. The general labor cost is incidental to the equipment cost and no other compensation will be made." B. Specifications - Section 203 - Removal of Structures and Obstructions - add "Any trash related items such as geo fabric, silt fence, or general trash within the trail corridor (within 30 feet from the trail centerline) will be removed and disposed of off National Forest System Lands. Payment for this work is incidental to Bid Item 203 removal of culverts or other bid items and no other payment will be made" C. Specifications - Section 622 Rental Equipment - Replace the Bull Dozer Specification with the following: The bull dozer shall be a Caterpillar D5 or D6 equipment with adjustable rippers. Contractor shall provide support resources necessary to get each operator to and from equipment each day. (1) Caterpillar D5 or D6 Bull dozer or equal Dozer: Min weight ¿ 26,000 lbs Min 120 HP Dozer shall be equipped with hydraulic parallelogram rippers with experienced operator as described above. Equipment shall be equipment with a blade capable to moving material example would be a "SU" or equivalent - (6-way blade) and Unit price bid should be for one dozer for one hour of running time as recorded on the hour meter of each dozer). ========================================================== 2) Pre-bid sign in sheet - See Attached All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
