Description
Savannah Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PR20055346 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 492110 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. This procurement shall be full and open competition. All qualified, responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. The resulting contract shall be awarded to the offeror who provides the best overall value to the Government. FOB destination shall be Savannah, GA. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Indianapolis, IN. intends to award a contract for the procurement of Courier Services. The Courier services will take place daily at three different locations in the Savannah, GA area. All locations and pick-up & delivery times can be found in the attached statement of work. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, personnel, licenses, permits, supplies and supervision. The contractor shall be responsible for picking up several mail bags with a maximum weight of 40lbs each and deliver them to three different locations twice a day. It is required that all contractors submitting a quote review the attached STATEMENT OF WORK to review all requirements and pick-up locations. All contractors submitting a quote shall be required to meet the requirements found in the STATEMENT OF WORK. Contractor shall assume full responsibility for all sealed containers, and their contents from pick-up to delivery. Proper liability insurance shall be required. The DHS, Customs and Border Protection require the following line items based on the requirements found in the STATEMENT OF WORK: 1. Courier Services from date of award through September 30, 2010 (Base Year) 2. Courier Services from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 (Option Year 1) 3. Courier Services from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 (Option Year 2) 4. Courier Services from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013 (Option Year 3) 5. Courier Services from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014 (Option Year 4) Contractors are expected to submit a quote for each of the above stated line items with each line item priced individually.
