- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Fort Hood Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood, TX is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for the procurement of a Mobile Training Team authorized by Joint Staff/J-21 and USCENTCOM to provide instruction and certification of authorized personnel using the Collateral Damage Estimation Methodology CJCSI 3160.01, 13 February 2009, Appendix E to Enclosure D and Para. E(2), page A-4. This is a request for information (RFI) and not a formal request for quote (RFQ). Any formal RFQ will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contracting Officer, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. The purpose of this RFI is to locate capable businesses that are interested in providing the contemplated service at Fort Hood, TX. The U.S. Army is interested in determining if sufficient and qualified small businesses are available and interested in providing the contemplated training. The Army reserves the right to set-aside this entire acquisition for small business; however, we invite both large and small businesses to address the questions below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 611710 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. Interested small business concerns that are certified and qualified as a HUBZone small business under NAICS 611710, and registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) under NAICS 611710 shall provide evidence that the company can provide the contemplated supplies. To support the set-aside decision, it is particularly important that potential small business concerns provide industry comments as follows: (1) If you are a Small Business that has provided the contemplated training under NAICS 611710 and plan on participating in the competition of this acquisition, please provide information relative to past performance and/or experience in providing the training requested above. Information should be sufficient to demonstrate the companys ability to provide this requirement; (2) State your business size, average numbers of employees and approximate annual gross revenue; (3) Please list your specific small business status (if applicable) for your company whether (a) HUB Zone Small Business; (b) Small Disadvantaged Business; (c) 8(a) Firm; (d) Women-owned Small Business; (e) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business; (f) Veteran-Owned Small Business; and (g) other (explain); (4) Please provide your company's name, CAGE code, DUNS, Tax ID Number (TIN), address, point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address; (5) Please provide suggestions to maximize the effectiveness of the anticipated RFQ and resulting order in providing quality supplies and services to Fort Hood, TX.
