- This is a requirement for the Overhaul/Re-manufacture of the E-3Ballscrew Assembly. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities,equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing,preservation and packaging of the E-3 Ballscrew Assembly. A firm fixedprice contract with a basic year plus four one-year options iscontemplated. The solicitation number will be FA8118-10-R-0049.Solicitation will be issued on or about 17 May 2010 and closes 16 Jun2010. The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per PRFD2030-10-26879 as follows: ITEMS:CLIN 0001: Overhaul: NSN 1680-01-006-9996AWP/N: 5703830Noun: Ballscrew AssemblyApplicable to E-3 aircraftCLIN 0002: Over and Above WorkCLIN 0003: Data & Reports (Not Separately Priced) QUANTITY: CLIN 0001: Basic Year - BEQ 25 each; Option I - BEQ 25 each; Option II -BEQ 25 each; Option III - BEQ 25 each; and Option IV - BEQ 25 each. DELIVERY: CLIN 0001: 2 each per month 30 days after receipt of order andreparables. UID - If unit price exceeds $5,000 then UID requirements will apply. APPROVED SOURCES: Linear Motion, LLC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/sourceapproval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC(405)739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements andcannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. Notes: Prospective vendors must comply with all the requirements of thesolicitation and its attachments to be considered responsive. TheGovernment does not intend to hold discussion but may hold discussion ifit is deemed necessary. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concernsfrom offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmentphase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not todiminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer,but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), All responsible sources may submit acapability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be consideredby the agency Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedparties may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice.
