- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg intends to award a Time-and-Materials (T&M) contract on a sole source basis to IAP World Services, Inc, 7315 N Atlantic Ave, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920 for providing the Industrial/Technical/IT/Administrative Support Services in support of Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC). The resulting contract will be a bridge contract to provide continued services for the period of 01 June 2010 through 31 July 2010. This requirement is to provide administrative, industrial, IT and technical support in various clinical and administrative areas located throughout the WRAMC organization. This is inclusive of Administrative and Professional support services that consists of: data entry, maintaining department calendars, arranging for departmental travel upon government approval, coordinating the daily administrative clinical support, tracking of document suspenses, greeting patients and visitors, setting up appointments, ordering office and medical supplies, receiving invoices and confirming shipped quantities prior to government payment as well as coordinating and executing implementation and integration team plans for the WRAMC Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). Administrative support services also include supporting projects for the Borden Institute that requires a specific time for completion of book projects, this work is subcontracted out. Computer Operators, Computer Programmers, Computer Systems Analysis and Technical Instructors provide information technology & technical support services that consists of: database development and maintenance, analysis of data, providing recommendations to government, providing IT help-desk support, book editing, CAD designing and modeling, technical instruction, graphic design support, writing and editing of technical reports and manuals. Medical Laboratory Technicians retrieve specimens from specimen processing section, process laboratory samples for testing, labeling specimen tubes, containers and storage racks and archiving specimens, record coding and transcription and medical laboratory coding and transcription. Warehouse Specialist Supply Technicians and Bus Drivers provide industrial and facility maintenance support that consists of: general and warehouse shipping and receiving, on and off post bus transportation, receiving, preparing and processing documents regarding procurement for supply and equipment. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 6.3, Other Than Full and Open Competition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
