- Synopsis:The Department of Veterans Affairs West Palm Beach VA Medical (ASAO East 8) in West Palm Beach, Florida 33410, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with TransVac Systems LLC, for the replacement of defective parts and upgrade of the TransVac Electronic Control Panel System of the Facility Laundry's TransVac System. The Contractor shall provide all electronic parts, accessories, labor, materials and necessary equipment to complete the job as stated in the Statement of Work. The NAICS code is 238290 with a size standard of 14 million dollars. The period of performance for this procurement will be for 2 months from time of award. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A) and (B), only one responsible source. It is believed that the Trans-VAC Electronic Panel and other parts needing repair or replacement presently installed will require Trans-Vac electronics parts and components of proprietary nature. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, if a firm believes it can meet these requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services, to the Contracting Officer within seven calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. If no valid responses are received, the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center will proceed with the intended sole source contract named TransVac Systems LLC. The following additional clauses apply: CCR Clause: Attention: You must be registered in CCR to be considered for award. FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003) (B) (2) the offeror shall provide its DUNS or, if applicable, it's DUNS+4 number with its offer, which will be used by the contracting officer to verify that the offeror is registered in the CCR database. (C) Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
