- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F1C23D0098A906, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: CLIN 0001- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 79000-00 OR EQUAL - GEO Explorer GEOXH 2008 CLIN 0002- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 50538-00 OR EQUAL - Terrasync Professional with Pathfinder Office Professional Software Kit CLIN 0003- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 55407-00 OR EQUAL - ZEPHYR GPS Antenna Kit CLIN 0004- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 56237-07 OR EQUAL - External Patch GPS Antenna CLIN 0005- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 53861 OR EQUAL - GIS 2M Carbon Fiber RNG Pole CLIN 0006- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 43261 OR EQUAL - GEO Explorer RNG Pole Bracket CLIN 0007- (Qty 1 EA) P/N 55239-10 OR EQUAL - Hard Case Yellow (Pelican) CLIN 0008- Shipping/Handling to Diego Garcia Requested Items are brand name OR EQUAL. Equal items must include all requested parts and measurements. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Items should be shipped 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to Detachment 1, 36 MSG, PSC 466 Box 29, FPO AP, Diego Garcia AFB, 96595. If not qualified for USPS shipping, delivery is to be made via Travis AFB with the following business address; TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OFFICE, 60APS/TRT BLDG NO. 977, TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, CA 94535. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items.
