Description
Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) has a requirement for SAP’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 10 training, specifically, an Integration of Business Processes class for 15 paid students and five observers in May 2010. The class will be held at DESC-San Antonio, TX. The Aerospace Energy Team is in the process of implementing FMD (Fuels Manager Defense) at various DFSPs (Defense Fuel Support Points). System integration requires fully trained experts in procurement, cash receivable, stock replenishment, acquisition cycle, transportation, and financial accounting. SAP’s course ERP10 - SAP ERP - Integration of Business Processes class will contribute to the success of system integration. The class includes ERP Basics, SAP Netweaver, Procurement, Lifecycle Data Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Sales Order Management, Enterprise Asset Management and Customer Service, Program and Program Management, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Business Intelligence, and Strategic Enterprise Planning. This is posted as notification of the Government's intent to enter into a sole-source award to SAP under the authority of FAR 13.5 and FAR 6.302-1: “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” However, the Government will accept and evaluate information on potential sources capable of delivering the requirements stated above. While this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, the Government will consider all quotations/responses received by May 6, 2010, keeping in mind that the required course must be held in May 2010. This announcement is published for informational purposes only. No other solicitation documents are available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 3:30 p.m. EST, May 6, 2010.
