Description: The Mogan Cultural Center in Lowell Ma is currently undergoing a cooling tower replacement via contract C170090059. The NATIONAL PARK SERVICE (NPS) Northeast Region intends to enter into negotiations with IJC Corporation of Windham, NH to replace an existing outdoor air cooled condensing unit and air handling unit which is used to provide air-conditioned fresh air to the upper classroom floors at the Mogan Cultural Center at Lowell National Historical Park. The units have been in service since 1987. It is the Government's intention to solicit and conduct negotiations to fulfill this requirement on a sole source basis with IJC Corporation, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any and all responses must be received within 15 days of this synopsis notice. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
