- Technical Order Sole Source Letter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT900053A001 this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40 effective 22 APR 2010; Defense DCN 20100408 effective 08 APR 2010, and AFAC 2010-0402 effective 02 Apr 2010. This acquisition is unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332911. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 4940. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3499. Travis AFB has a requirement for High Pressure Servicing Hose subassembly and Low Pressure Servicing Hose subassembly. This requirement is sole sourced to: General Aviation Industries, Inc. 415 Jones Road, Weatherford, TX 76088-9121. The 60th MXS is outfitted with a hose assembly that requires a high & low pressure subassembly hose made only by General Aviation Industries, Inc. as directed by TO 35D3-6-48-1 p. 7-2. General Aviation Industries, Inc. is the only company that can provide the correct performance and construction requirements for Gaseous Oxygen servicing units to service C-5/C-17 aircraft. 0001-AA : High Pressure Servicing Hose Subassembly PART # 1980. 0002-AA : Low Pressure Servicing Hose Subassembly PART # 1982. 0003-AA : Shipping Delivery: 30 Days ADC Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
