- Drawing 2 Drawing 1 includes Scope of Work This combined synopsis/solicitation is to procure a lease for temporary modular office space at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District. The original solicitation was set aside and closed on 9 March 2010. The government has decided to reissue the solicitation to include full and open competition. The following changes have been made to the Scope of Work: paragraph 2.2. Multiple floors are allowed. paragraph 5. Government Furnished Property. The Government shall provide to the contractor a total of 4 work stations. Each work station is u-shaped, measures 6 foot by 8 foot, has 3 work surfaces, overshelves with lockable flipper doors, task lighting, tack boards, pencil drawer and two (2) pedestal storage units. paragraph 9. Stairs, Ramps and Railings. Stairs, ramps, platforms and handrails are to be made of lightweight aluminum. Ramps and platforms shall have an extruded skid resistant surface. Each assembly shall have integrated independently adjustable supports. Steps and ramps shall be securely fastened to the modular unit or ground surface. Hand-rails shall be provided on both sides of steps, containing both a Top-Rail (42" +/- 3"), toe board and Mid-Rail erected half-way between top rail and floor. Stairs, ramps and railings shall be greater than or equal to EZ-Access Modular Ramps. Please make note of the submission requirements contained in the attached solicitation package. For example, the following paragraphs are included in the Scope of Work and specify the detailed drawings that are required to be submitted as part of the proposal: paragraph 3. Configuration, Size and Location. The Contractor will design and submit with their bid, the configuration, size and specific location of the modular building(s) to be installed. The contractor will be permitted to use all the area provided by the Government for this purpose. Reference the attached drawing. paragraph 4. Floor Plan. The contractor shall submit with their bid a drawing depicting the proposed floor plan of the modular office building(s). The floor plan shall identify the location and configuration of each employee workstation, Government furnished property, and restrooms. The proposed floor plan shall be in sufficient detail for the Government to determine the width and length of all hard walls, conference and restrooms, width of aisles, and dimensions of each work station. Please also note the paragraphs found on the bottom of page 10 of the attached solicitation which describe the criteria that will be used for evaluating offers.
