Action Code: Special Notice Subject: IP-422485-8 Solicitation Number: W31P4Q-05-A-0031/0021 Set-Aside Code: None Response Date: 5-5-2010 Place of Performance: US Army Aviation and Missile Command (EXPRESS) ATTN: CCAM-OS-O/Tiffany Hardin, Building 5303, Martin Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 Description: The US Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to purchase the following under the EXPRESS Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) W31P4Q-05-A-0031, Task order Number 0021 with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC)., Huntsville, AL: The IP-422485-8 is a single-wide IP Module supported on GE's VME-AIC, VXI-AIC, CEI-500, CEI-600, VME-MIO products. The module provides 8 independent, asynchronous serial data ports. GE's supporting AIC firmware and IP-AVIONICS-SW software provides a single integrated interface to RS-422, RS-485 and other avionics protocols hosted on the same carrier board. Software configuration helps you quickly set baud rates, character-sizes, stop bits, parity 8 each. This item is not available from GSA schedule sources. Therefore, in accordance with FAR 8.402(f) this requirement is being synopsized. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 7 calendar days of the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed task order modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a separate competitive procurement.
