- Description
- Sources sought for small business firms interested in submitting a proposal for an upcoming Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract for 316th Contracting Office, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762. The contractor shall provide 400 (each), Brown in color, Movit Plastic Barricades. Each barricade will contain a custom adhesive logo that will be provided by the Government. The contractor shall deliver all items within 25 days upon receipt of order. The specifications for the Movit Plastic Barricades are as follows: Hooks in two positions for uneven ground, Holes in base for permanent anchoring, and Ribbed, re-enforced molding for strength & stability The measurements are as follows: Length: 6 ½' (78") Width: 1.5" Height: 3.3' (39") Weight: 26.5 lbs This will be a 100% Total Small Business set-aside competitive solicitation utilizing NAICS Code 325211, Plastics Material and Resin Manufacturing and is anticipated to be open to firms located in all SBA regions nationwide. Responses must include the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, and Fax, e-mail, DUNS number and Cage Code. Responses are due no later than 12 Noon Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 6 May 2010. This information must be e-mailed to BOTH Julia Johnson at Julia.Johnson@afncr.af.mil and D'Jaris Gladden at djaris.gladden@afncr.af.mil. DISCLAIMER THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This request is for PLANNING purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, and a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in the RFI. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. Any responses received will not be used as a proposal. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Information provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process. This notice is part of the Government's Market Research, a continuous process for obtaining the latest information on the commercial status of the industry with respect to their current and near-term abilities.
