Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Data Sciences International (DSI), 119 14th Street NW, St Paul, MN 55112 for the acquisition of (15/each) Part# 270-0092-008 - Transmitter Exchange Program, Model TL11M2-C50-PXT; (1/each) Part #276-0038-001 - Regel syringe filled with.50cc gel; (5/each) Part# 270-0092-008 - Pressure, Biopotential, Temperature and Activity Warranted Battery Life: 2 months Batter monitor mode Min., Model TL11M2-C50-PXT: (20/each) Part# 270-0041-001X - Transmitter Exchange Program, Model TA11CTA-F40. DSI refurbishes transmitters for surgical implantation that measure blood pressure, heart rate, and other physiological responses. EPA laboratory is equipped with DSI radiotelemetry systems that record and store information from surgically implanted radiotransmitters manufactured by DSI. EPA has identified Data Sciences International, the only vendor capable of providing the requested service to refurbish their transmitters. The circumstance permitting is FAR 6.302 1 only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s) exist, and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provide the aforementioned data and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written capabilities/specifications no later than 4:30pm EST, May 14, 2010. Submit response to the U.S. EPA, Attn: Pamela E.
