- Description
- RECOVERY -- This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement for the Winthrop National Fish Hatchery, Adult Holding and Spawning Facilities, Leavenworth Fisheries Complex, Washington. The Winthrop National Fish Hatchery is located approximately 90 miles north of Wenatchee (Okanogan County) Washington. Principal components of the work include: clear, grub, and strip; earth work for pipe trench; earthwork for structure including: trap building, pump building, and holding ponds; furnish and place gravel surfacing; furnish and install pipes for fish return, water supply pipes, and chain link fence; furnish and place concrete; repair concrete of spalled strut; remove and dispose of existing pump shack and foundation; concrete demolition and saw cutting; furnish and install metalwork including: aluminum v-trap, diamond floor plate, aluminum recovery tank, floor diffusers, aluminum flume, handrails, guardrails, stairs and ladders, steel grating, stainless steel flume, anesthetic tank, tables, and lift baskets; handle and dispose of pipe containing asbestos; furnish and install slide and stop gates, valves, buried pipe line, lighting and electrical service, pumps, floor drains, spray nozzles, strainer, and hoists; design, furnish, and install fish crowder; furnish and install fish lock and viewing window; design, furnish and construct pre-engineered metal trap building, pre-engineered metal pump building, metal frame and roof over rearing ponds; and seed areas disturbed by construction. This requirement is set-aside as an 8(a) competitive negotiated procurement. Technical proposals will be evaluated along with the price proposal. The estimated dollar range of this procurement is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 and the size standard is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available APPROXIMATELY May 28, 2010, at www.fbo.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving award of any contract - see www.ccr.gov. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
