Description

RECOVERY--PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR ONEIDA TOTAL INTEGRATED ENTERPRISES UNDER THE CURRENT SABER CONTRACT# FA4610-10-D-0007 AT VANDENBERG AFB, CA. The scope for this project is to repair and replace components that support high voltage electrical spans. Contractor will inspect existing high-voltage hardware; demo existing corroded powerline components; repair and/or replace components including insulators, deadend shoes, hinge pins, clevises, jumper wires, guy pole wires, nuts, u-bolts, washers, and other associated hardware; clean up and remove and replaced components. The contractor will replace high voltage power line components with corrosion-resistant ferrous metal components such as hot-dipper galvanized or ductile iron material, or silicon bronze or stainless steel. The lines to be repaired shall be 12 kVh and 70 kVh. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the above referenced contractor. TASK ORDER MAGNITUDE: $100,000-$250,000
