- Furniture Listing DOE/NSTec is seeking a Contractor Teaming Arrangement (CTA) for sources to provide a turnkey procurement to include furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for two fire stations, 42,800 square feet. This project is a small business set-aside. The furniture shall comply with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and maximize sustainability efforts on all levels, i.e., energy star products, low emitting materials, water efficiency, renewable materials, recycled content, etc. Delivery on this project will be to the Nevada Test Site, and must be completed by August 2010. Please see attached (FF&E list, building layout and security, and safety requirements). Please include any Greenguard / LEED certifications and / or examples of previous work related to sustainability projects. Items here will be purchased for a new facility meeting LEED certification "Silver". Material and resources to be procured will complement this goal. Interested parties must demonstrate ability of providing the FF&E by providing a brief summary limited to 5 pages addressing: "Project Plan" - describing its plan for project execution to include the following topics: •1. Plan for ordering of FF&E •2. How the Offeror will stage the equipment for delivery in accordance with the schedule •3. How the Offeror will deliver and set-up/install the FFE. "Technical Proposal" - demonstrate that the proposed FF&E: •1. complies with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Materials & Resources Credit 3 (MR 3): Materials Reuse •2. Comparable r emanufactured/refurbished furniture in a similar style, model and color. "Experience" - must demonstrate that they have experience within the last five (5) years (minimum of two years) on similar types of Projects.
