- Description
- The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with some additional broad information regarding the scope and USG expectations in this effort. Please review the attached. The purpose of this amendment is to provide interested parties with information regarding the Air Forces expectations on safety for the Joint Programmable Fuze (JPF). Safety is a mandatory, inflexible constraint for the JPF. A key performance requirement is full compliance with USG Safety Criteria for Fuze Design at the MIL-STD-1361D or later revision and certification by an appropriate USG Safety Board. Sources interested in the JPF Production that wishes to address safety concerns can do so through the JPF Program Office.
