Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage serves as an alternative if the FBO website is unavailable. This requirement is for a 2-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for fuel cell modules retrofit in forklifts and operational maintenance for C balance MHE, in accordance with the Government performance specification and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). The Government requires a minimum/maximum quantity of 4/30. Training and operational support of the fuel cell power units are required. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis. This acquisition is not being done in accordance with FAR Part 12. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Delivery is required FOB destination, with destination to be determined, 180 days after contract award with inspection and acceptance at destination. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration database (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at www.ccr.gov. The government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government is considering technical, past performance, and price related factors. The applicable NAICS classification is 541712. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
