Description
RECOVERYTAS::14 0681::TASARRA Project No.: 28.000Solicitation: R10PS20R83Title: Drought Relief Temporary Pumps and Piping II Project Supplies The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for irrigation supplies, including pumps, valves, flow meters, steel and HDPE piping and fittings. The proposed purchase order will be commercial for firm-fixed priced supplies. The NAICS Code is: 331111, with a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. This procurement is not set-aside for Small Business. Solicitation R10PS20R83 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about April 28, 2010. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. The information provided in this announcement is all of the information the Government has available at this time. There are no specifications, bid packages, or source lists available until the solicitation is posted. There are no drawings associated with this project. The quotes will be due approximately 14 days after issuance of the RFQ. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Brenda Davis by email at bdavis@usbr.gov. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as required by FAR 4.1102, applies to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please be advised that the awardee with be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act, which requires that each contractor report on its Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public. This acquisition falls under FAR Part 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, which authorizes the use of simplified acquisition procedures for this action.
