Description

RFP #HSFEHQ-10-R-0062 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. View the full announcement at HSFEHQ-10-R-0062.docx. The solicitation HSFEHQ-10-R-0062, issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), unless otherwise indicated herein. This RFP is for Deep Sea Freight Transportation for the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Distribution Center located in Puerto Rico. The requirement consists of having commodities loaded by FEMA personnel into contractor provided conventional containers, picked up either from Naval Activity Puerto Rico or FEMA Distribution Center Caribbean (Puerto Rico), delivered to the Puerto Rico LCL Cargo Facility (or to an alternate site designated by FEMA on Puerto Rico) and finally vesseled to various ports in the USVI.
