- Description
- Date for submission of SF330 Parts I and II has been extended to April 23, 2010, 4:00 PM. Submit to Mr. Thomas Hart, Contracting Officer, RFP VA-261-10-RP-00XX/Project No. 612-00X (by U.S. Mail) Department of Veterans Affairs (VISN 21), 5342 Dudley Blvd, CCA-Bldg. 209, McClellan Park, CA 95654-2600 (Fed Ex or hand deliver) Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21), Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA), 3230 Peacekeeper Way, Bldg 209, Room 114, McClellan Park, Sacramento County, CA 95652-2600 The following are responses to additional questions. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (as of 4-15-10) VA261-10-RP-0061/Project No. 612-001, MATHER VA261-10-RP-0063/ Project No. 612-002, MARTINEZ VA261-10-RP-0064/Project No. 612-003, MATHER 1. (Q) Regarding the three solicitations referenced above - are we allowed to submit more than 10 projects for each of these? (A) You are allowed to submit more than 10 projects for each solicitation that you consider relevant and provide evidence of experience and capabilities. To clarify, more than three similar successful projects validates experience, and up to five shows a lot of experience. 2. (Q) Also, there was mention at the informational meeting that the address to submit our qualifications is different than the address printed in the solicitation. Can you please let us know us know if the Contracting Officer and/or the submission address has changed? (A) See address at the top of this page. 3. (Q) Do you anticipate that the expansion of the Martinez mental health clinic will be a 'B' occupancy ? Can you please clarify what types of services/spaces will be required of the 16,050 SF new outpatient mental health facility? Can you please clarify what types of services/spaces will be required of the 7,240 SF renovated outpatient mental health unit? (A) First off 'consolidate and expand' are terms the V.A. uses in regard to our healthcare services; in Engineering terms this may seem confusing. So to clarify, yes, the new outpatient 'Mental Health' (PC Term: Behavioral Health) facility will be business occupancy. We also assume the remodel of existing space to be Business occupancy as well. 4. (Q) Do you anticipate that the major functional components of the building will differ significantly from those in the current facility at Martinez site? (A) Remodel: No; at this time we intend on remodeling the existing for office space, specifically converting large conference areas into offices. New facility: I would not consider the differences significant, more of an upgrade for patient privacy, specifically in sound attenuation as these patients are typically counseled on the unit. As described the function remains Outpatient.
