- Industry Day Announcement The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk is sponsoring an unclassifiedPre-Solicitation Conference (Industry Day) conducted by the Navy CyberForces (NAVY CYBERFOR) for a contract vehicle that will provide IT servicesfor the Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network(ONE-NET), and to accomplish migration of business support and command andcontrol (C2) systems from legacy networks to ONE-NET. The purpose of theevent is to provide a status update of the procurement process, informindustry of program requirements, competition timeline, and to provide anetworking opportunity. The one day conference will be held on 29 April 2010, at The Virginia BeachResort Hotel and Conference Center, 2800 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA23451-1327 from 9:00 AM to approximately 1:00 PM. Doors will open at 8:30AM EST to allow for arrival and registration. Eachcompany will be limited to three (3) attendees due to space constraints. It is anticipated that a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and relatedattachments will be provided via NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil)approximately one week prior to the event. The anticipated date of solicitation posting is 28 June 2010 on NECO with ananticipated award date of 03 January 2011. Please note that these are onlyprojected dates and may change. All are requested to monitor NECO, as thiswill be the only Government Point of Entry for all postings. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise tocontract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee orfor travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost inresponse to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to theGovernment.
