- NAVMETOCCEN is submitting a sole source contract to AUSTIN ELECTRIC COMPANY of Chesapeake, VA. NAVMETOCCEN is using AUSTIN ELECTRIC COMPANY for the following reason; Austin subcontractors performed the initial two phases of this project and the use of them will bring the following benefits to the government; Familiarity with the site, the facility, and the specific nature of the work. The deliverable goods and services shall consist of procurement and installation of industrial grade electronic goods and services in and around BLDG U117 on NAVREGMIDLANT Norfolk VA sufficient to rectify enumerated outstanding safety and performance issues on the site critical electrical load. AUSTIN ELECTRIC COMPANY shall use the “Ground & PQ Analysis on Protected Power” documentation January, 27, 2010 as a reference and bid to correct findings and recommendations located in this document. The government will provide an electronic copy of this document and allow access to the site for review of the findings upon written request. There is no other source that will satisfy this agency’s requirement. This requirement is within the discretion of the government.
