- PAGE 1 OF EVAPORATIVE COOLER DIAGRAM SIATECH ALBUQUERQUE JOB CORPS & GED TESTING - EVAPORATIVE COOLING DIAGRAM. Del-Jen, Inc a Fluor Company is soliciting bids from a qualified vendor to provide commercial grade air conditioner units per Statement of Work (SOW) below. Work will be performed at the Albuquerque Job Corps Center (AJCC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Albuquerque Job Corps is a national training and employment program administered by the Department of Labor. Qualified supplier will provide a turn key operation for material, labor, equipment, and removal of existing air conditioners to be performed per the scope of work below. Contractor will supply all materials needed to complete this work with a turn key operation. All bids will be submitted NLT May 03, 2010 by 5:00pm Mountain time. Contractor will provide five commercial coolers, 4000 CFM, ductwork, diffusers, and warranty for work performed. All work to be accomplished in accordance with NRCA, Davis Bacon Act, and comply with Job Corps center rules and policies. Supplier will also provide proof of Certificate of Liability insurance once awarded. Scope of Work: The first building at AJCC will require Five (5) 4000 CFM energy efficient commercial grade air conditioner units (Aero Cool) with ductwork running on roof with drops through the roof to ceiling diffusers. Diffuser will also need to be installed. Air conditioner units will be evaporated coolers with Master Cool brand and energy efficient rated (Energy Star). Roof is pitch with tar and pea gravel material. There will be three existing coolers that will need to be removed (returned to material control) and ducts capped. Turn around time is three weeks from time of award for completion on job. Work will be during working hours with employee working inside the building. The second building U, Core Area will require one 4000 CFM Cooler. The Drawings attached are not exact but for reference only which indicates areas of placement and CFM of each bldg/room. Drawings indicate approximate location of Ductwork & placement of coolers with the flow Rates required for each area. A walk thru is recommended at the suppliers convenience. Walk thru appointments will be made thru Mr. Ed Espinosa, Maintenance Manager at 505/366-1249. Performance of work address is 1500 Indian School Rd. NW, Albuquerque NM 87104. Contractor will clean area of the job related debris daily to ensure a clean job site and safety concerns. A)Davis Bacon Act Wage Far Subpart #22-403 prevailing rate will apply. B)Certificate of Liability Insurance apply. C)Government funded facility and tax exempt. NTTC will be issued once awarded. D)Safety Standards apply: a.Meet all applicable federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations and specific Del-Jen requirements b.Contractor’s safety plan along with compliance to Del-Jen safety plan. c.Contractor should have a written injury and illness Prevention Plan for employees that documents the job safety and health requirements and to make sure all employees are trained in these requirements. E)Performance and Payment Bond, Construction – If resultant contract is over $100,000 a performance and payment bond is required. F)See attached drawings (two).
