- RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, National Marine Mammal Laboratory located in Seattle, WA intends to acquire the following item: qty of 1 each Hematology Analyzer. The instrument must be able to process the following: a. White blood cell counts, b.) Red blood cell counts, c.) Hematocrits and d.) Hemoglobin on Steller sea lions and northern fur seals on a boat while at sea. Quotes must be FOB Seattle, WA 98112. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 334516. The government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract with required delivery of no later than June 1, 2010. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication.
