- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Medtronic Navigation of Louisville, CO 80027 for One (1) StealthStation S7 Navigation Cart System (Part # 9733856) to include Surgeon Monitor Cart #9733857, STEALTHSTATION S7 AXIEM BRACKET AND CABLE KIT # 9733942, Synergy Cranial Software # 9733937, S7 SYNERGY SPINE SOFTWARE # 9733990, FUSION ENT SOFTWARE #9733652, CRANIAL INSTRUMENT SET - VERTEK PASSIVE BIOPSY KIT # 9733936, SPINE INSTRUMENT-NAVIGATED VERTEX MAX SET #9733370, INSTRUMENT SET-SURETRAK II PASSIVE # 961-574, SPINE INSTRUMENT SET - PERCUTANEOUS REFERENCE PIN #9733362 AND MICROSCOPE PROBE # 9730285. Unit must be DICOM complient. Purchase will also include installation and in-service, training, two (2) each of owners manuals and service manuals, manufacturers warranty, and F.O.B. point is Destination. This system must be capable to interfacing with a c-arm/o-arm and provide intra-operative images in 2D and 3D. System must offer Optical and Electromagnetic Technology (AxIEM Technology). System must run ENT Fusion Electromagnetic Solution Software #9733652. Purchase requires 24/7 Service Support, software upgrades, ongoing training, preventative maintenance inspections, clinical training to train new surgeons, surgical coverage support. NAICS Codes 339113,423450 apply. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 PM April 22, 2010.
