Description
Statement of Objective for required effort. TITLE OF EFFORT: Universal Aerial Refueling Receptacle Slipway Installation (UARRSI) Structural Aircraft Ground Test Support. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the UARRSI Structural Aircraft Ground Test Support and on-site test effort to support the HC/MC-130J Recap Program. This will be a fixed price level of effort that will not exceed 100 hours. The qualified contractor must be intimately familiar with operational, structural and interface requirements of the UARRSI and have experience in UARRSI integration and testing. Having worked on the original development of the UARRSI is a plus. A Sources Sought notice published in FEDBIZOPS from 15-29 Mar 2010 yielded no responses. Therefore, the Air Force intends to award this effort to Aerial Refueling Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. The purpose of this task will be to support C-130J Structural Aircraft Ground test for UARRSI and to participate in on-site tests. The scope of this effort will involve attendance at test plan working group (TPWG) meetings as required by teleconference, by phone, or by on-site meetings, and to attend the UARRSI Pull Test at Lockheed facility in Marietta GA. The period of performance is not expected to exceed 11 months after issuance of the contract. The contract CLINs will be Technical Support, Travel, and Data deliverables. The anticipated award date is 20 Apr 2010. See Statement of Objective under attachments for additional details. All questions and/or proposals may be addressed to Mr. John Shock, Contracting Officer, at 667 AESS/SYKA, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433-7200, (937) 656-6457, or email to John.Shock@wpafb.af.mil.
