This notice advises Industry, MDA plans to release an amendment to the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) end of April 2010 and to release the formal RFP the end of June 2010. This notice also includes the current GMD DSC acquisition schedule. Updates to the schedule will be posted to the GMD DSC Acquisition Web site at: http://www.mda.mil/business/gmd_dsc.html. The Government is continuing to finalize the work scope and Government property transitions and will provide further detail prior to release of the formal RFP. The Government intends to award, on a best value basis, a contract based on the quality and content of proposals received. An offeror should formulate its proposal using, to the greatest extent practicable, any technical data, computer software or computer software documentation (as defined in DFARS 252.227-7013 and DFARS 252.227-7014) generated in the performance of a Government contract. Therefore, all offerors are given express Government permission to use technical data or computer software or computer software documentation for which the Government has a royalty free, world-wide, nonexclusive, irrevocable unlimited or government purpose license as established and defined in DFARS 252.227-7013 and DFARS 252.227-7014.
