Description
RECOVERY: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THERECOVERY- T&E CLEARANCE IN AREA WITH POTENTIAL FOR COMMERCIAL SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY. The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office, is soliciting for offers for the Recovery-Renewable Energy Biologic Survey. The receipt of the award is contingent on the recipient's meeting the requirements in Section 1512 of the Recovery Act. Description of Work: The Grand Junction Field Office Renewable American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Biologic Survey Project is an inventory of areas with renewable energy development potential located on public lands managed by the BLM Grand Junction Field Office (GJFO). The results will help the GJFO plan for future renewable energy development which could include wind and solar projects, as well as power lines and other necessary facilities on the GJFO. Location: The four project areas are within Mesa County, near the Utah/Colorado border and Interstate 70. The three Solar Areas are located in the North Fruita Desert, just north of Grand Junction, in Mesa County, Colorado. The Wind Area is located approximately 3 air miles southwest of the town of Palisade, in Mesa County, Colorado. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541620, with a standard size of $7. The release date for the request for quote is March 29, 2010. Responses are due no later than 12 pm Mtn Time, APRIL 12, 2010 to the BLM, Attn: Felicia Trujillo.
