Description

CORRECTED Standard Form 1442 - Amendment 0002 to Arecibo JCC Solicitation Standard Form 30 - AMENDMENT 0002 of Arecibo Solicitation The purpose of AMENDMENT 0002 is to: a) Correct the Standard Form 1442 Block 13B to reflect that "An offer guarantee (bid bond) IS REQUIRED" with the offeror's proposal. In accordance with sub-section I.9 52.228-1 BID GUARANTEE (SEP 1996), (c) the amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20 percent of the bid price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is less. The disclosure of the magnitude for the Arecibo JCC New Dormitories project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Extend proposal due date from April 13, 2010 to April 16, 2010. Block 13A of the SF 1442 concerning proposal due date remains unchanged. Please remember to include the SF30 AMENDMENT 0002 in your proposal submission, along with any other amendments. The disclosure of the magnitude for the Arecibo JCC New Dormitories project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The magnitude included within the SOW is incorrect. As mentioned within the pre-solicitation posting, the proposed method of procurement is HUBZone Competition. All offerors must have their HUBZone certification upon issuance of the solicitation/RFP. In the case of Joint Ventures (JVs) both firms must be HUBZone. The JV must accomplish 15% of the work, while 50% of the total contract price must be accomplished by a HUBZone workforce, either from the prime contractor or subcontractors.
