Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is planning a sole-source purchase order with Brown's Medical Imaging. The Selenia Hologic Mammography Unit in Winnebago NE contains proprietary software and requires continued upgrades and preventative maintenance. Only Brown's Medical Imaging is the only qualified vendor authorized to provide such preventative maintenance services. Brown's Medical Imaging can supply a service agreement that provides complete maintenance, labor, travels and parts five (5) days per week. Also included are scheduled preventative maintenance visits, software updates and telephone technical support. Brown's Medical Imaging is the only vendor with trained service engineers that can provide this full service. The Winnebago Indian Health Service is responsible to ensure the Indian Health Hospital located on the Winnebago reservation is providing the services required by the government and utilizing the federal appropriations in accordance to regulations which govern the Indian Health Service. This announcement is a sole-source set-aside, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. A Sources Sought notice was posted of FedBizOpps on April 6, 2010. No responses were received.
