- Description
- This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 15. This acquisition is for the Transitional Housing Service. The solicitation will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is Unrestricted. NAICS Code: 624229, Size Standard: $7.0 Million. The contractor shall provide complete transitional housing service requested by the Washington DC VA Medical Center (DC VAMC) for the homeless beneficiaries. The contractor shall possess all licenses, accreditations and certificates as required by local, state and federal law. The contract period will be for one (1) year. Offers will be considered from all responsive, responsible offerors as determined by the Contracting Officer in accordance with FAR 9.104. The electronic solicitation for RFP VA-245-10-RP-0086 may be downloaded at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The offeror is responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from the FBO website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, DC VAMC. Interested firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via e-mail to lilibeth.deato@va.gov, or fax your written request to (202) 745-8465 attention: Lilibeth Deato. Solicitation issue date will be on or about April 2, 2010. Proposals shall be submitted by April 16, 2010 at 2:00 pm (EST) either by mail or hand carried to Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 5 Contract Satellite Office (90C), 50 Irving Street NW, Room 3D-233, Washington, DC 20422, Attn: Lilibeth Deato. E-MAIL PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED, as long as hard copy will also be provided. All necessary solicitation documents will be available on/after April 5, 2010 on the FedBizOpps system, including any amendments.
