Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife has a requirement to procure a replacement LCMS instrument 1) A benchtop Qaudrupol Time-Of-Flight (QTOF) configuration2) A liquid chromatograph (LC) and gas chromatograph (GCAPCI) interface to themass spectrometer3) The liquid chromatograph portion of the instrument must possess ultra highpressure capabilities (i.e., a UPLC) able to achieve pressures of up to 800 bar4) The liquid chromatograph portion of the instrument must be able to deliver flowrates in the traditional range (100 uLlmin - 5mLlmin), as well as in the nano flowrange (20-1,000 nLlmin)5) The liquid chromatograph portion of the instrument must deliver a biniarygradient in a splitless fashion over the range of 20nLlmin - 50uL/min6) The liquid chromatograph must be fully integrated with the software operating themass spectrometer7) The mass spectrometer must be able to achieve resolution of better than 17,500with full sensitivity acquisitions at all times8) The mass spectrometer must utilize AOC detection and not TOC detection9) The mass spectrometer must exhibit mass accuracy in MS and MS/MS modes of<5ppm RMS using external standard and <2ppm with internal standard10) The mass spectrometer must utilize dual ion-funneling technology.
