Description
This notice is for informational purposes only. This not a sources sought notice, nor request for competitive proposals. No public competitive acquisition package is available with regard to this notice. The government does not intend to either accept or review alternate proposals from vendors that fall outside of the below listed established contracts. Additionally, the Government is not requesting subcontractor proposals in response to this notice. This procurement is available only to those contractors listed on established Department of the Interior Design-Build, Construction, and Construction Services Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) #98210AD001, 98210AD003, and 98210AD005. Design services that are applicable to the Brooks Act are not inclusive of this procurement. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2-Southwest, Texas Chenier Refuge Complex, is preparing to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) 20181AR513 on or about April 16, 1010 for the construction of Wavebreaks along the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway along the banks of the McFadden National Wildlife Refuge in Sabine Pass, Jefferson County, Texas. The primary project will involve supply, delivery, and placement of materials in accordance with specifications listed within the solicitation; construction of supplied materials being in accordance with a cross-section drawing for a final product that aids in the control of bank erosion along a maximum of approximately 42,456 feet of shoreline. The estimated time of completion for this project is approximately 90 calendar days, pending award. Performance period is estimated to being approximately May 17, 2010.
