Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0008 with the Raytheon Company. This order will provide support services for the AWW-13 Advanced Data Link System. These services are a post production logistic and engineering support for the SLAM-ER weapon systems for the USN. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Raytheon Company has a unique knowledge base of the AWW-13 Data POD, as a result of its design, development, and modification of these systems. Accordingly, Raytheon is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with The Raytheon Company at the following address: 9125 E 21st, Indianapolis, IN 46219-2001. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving contract award will be registration in the DOD's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. For more information on the CCR, contact the CCR Assistance Center at 888-227-2423. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.
