- RECOVERY-North Creek Bridge Repairs-LDRBC0270000. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation to remove and replace all wood members of the North Fork Bridge (East Bridge), including stringers, decking, structural members, bearing plates, etc. Also remove and dispose of the existing guard rail and construct new steel hand rail. Project is approximately 5 miles North of Virgin, UT just off the Kolob Reservoir Road in Washington County, UT. Site visit is scheduled for March 26, 2010 at 11:00 am. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a size standard of $33.5M. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 45 calendar days, estimated to begin immediately following contract award. This procurement shall be set aside for Total Small Business. Competition limited to eligible Small Business concerns. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall register and download from FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net). This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
