Description
RECOVERY TAS::14 1041::TAS VAFO PMIS #152410 - Rehabilitate Vegetated Infiltration Basins - Rehabilitate Support Facilities at Washington's Headquarters Area - Phase 3SUBJECT TO THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009 REPORTING REQUIREMENTS THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY BEING OFFERED TO CUTTING EDGE GROUP, LLC, OF LAKE GEORGE, NY, UNDER THE 8(a) PROGRAM AND IN FULL PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION PURSUANT TO FAR 19.805 AND WILL NOT BE COMPETED.This action is an 8(a) sole source set-aside; therefore, we are not seeking proposals but are announcing this project as required by ARRA. This ARRA project will be to rehabilitate the area around Washington's Headquarters included construction of a new parking area, adjacent restrooms, accessible walkways and vegetated stormwater infiltration beds that were graded to blend with the existing hillside and intended to be visually insignificant, once vegetation was established. The stormwater facilities have failed to perform, however, and water is being retained in what are functionally five retention basins. The purpose of this project is to understand the reason(s) why the facilities have failed to perform and to provide a solution to rehabilitate the facilities to restore, to the maximum extent technically feasible, the pre-development hydrology of the property with regard to the temperature, rate, volume, and duration of flow..The estimated price range is $500,000 to $750,000. The project period of performance will be 180 days. The NAICS code for this project is 237990.NPS point of contact is: Darrin Knapp, Contracting Officer, (303) 969-2055.
